Supreme Court Blocks Trump Administration’s Try To End DACA
The Supreme Court voted to block the Trump Administration’s try to end the Deferred Action for Children Arrivals system on Thursday (June 18). Your decision, passed in a vote that is 5-4 protects 800,000 DACA recipients whom stumbled on the U.S. as kiddies, from being deported.
The SCOTUS vote delays the Administration’s efforts that are potential rescind DACA versus blocking it indefinitely. The court ruling determined that the DACA reversal is certainly not unconstitutional.
“Today’s decision needs to be recognized for just what it’s: an endeavor in order to avoid a politically controversial but lawfully proper decision,” Justice John Roberts penned.
